Our Father Creator knows there's no other gods before Him, because the word God itself means a celestial being. So in correct terminology we're saying something completely absurd here by saying, our Father of creation came from the stars He created. In all respect to Jesus, who clearly states His Father Creator as being a Great Spirit throughout the entire bible, this same Father is the Creator of everything.
So technically speaking, our Father created these so called gods, or celestial beings. So this first commandment is obviously stating we shall have no celestial beings or aliens, if you will, or statues of them like Diana to worship. In this way it's easily understood how important it is to our Father we don't worship images or idols.
Isn't this interesting because the Father of all creation is mysterious, marvelous and mighty, for reasons unknown to mankind. One of mankind's greatest fears is the unknown. This is just one good reason to fear your Creator, and His promise through His Son not to harm a hair on our head, but to prosper us likewise, is one good reason to love Him.
There's an old saying goes, "our Fathers guiding hand is protecting you, but as soon as you think you can do it without Him, He lifts his hand for you to prove it."
