Change is tough sometimes
moving in a different direction,
winds of change without the chimes
our past is created like a reflection.
Nose down straight strut
looking dead ahead,
take a look at the battle front
think God that your not dead.
Struggling with your thoughts
don't have a nervous breakdown,
picture images from pasts that haunt
just give yourself a shakedown.
Now pick yourself up
find a reason to keep going,
don't drink from the same 'ole cup
the winds of change are blowing.

On and on we go,
don't let up when to and fro.
Sometimes seems like an up hill drudge,
to reach the top release the grudge.
Keep on going still it seems,
working hard to fulfill our dreams.
We love someone and give them all,
selfless dedication you will not fall.
Some drivin' force behind this notion,
a life of love sacrifice and devotion.
An act of character a smile for a friend,
a life chosen from beginning till the end.
No regrets to your walk in this world
finding favor in the eyes of your Savior,
don't worry or tire build your spiritual fire
judged by your life time behavior.
