Jerusalem was seized mainly because they weren't honoring the Sabbath day. This was Jeremiah's prophecy, it came true. The days of the week, the months of the year, have all been determined, studied forthright so that we would know when to plant our foods and harvest them as well. We simply cannot just change this. This is life altering. The same harvest happens all over the world the same way. Jesus knew this, and He also knew that men were worshiping a false idol on Sunday (Ra). He had to change this. He went to Jerusalem at a certain time because these events had to unfold on these days to make things right with our Father Creator, Jesus' Father. To prosper we have to have organization and skilled workers who will need a point of origin to work from. Not only are we to rest on the Sabbath but we are to keep it Holy. We should be the fruits of God's labor giving Him great joy in what He created. Just imagine our Father and His son Jesus watching you on the Sabbath, what would they find you doing. What we think are blessings are very very tiny compared to the true blessings our Father wants for us. Abraham & Job were truly blessed, they honored the Sabbath, their blessings were extraordinary.
What is really wonderful and mighty is to worship our Creator and son three out of seven days of the week, not just one day. If we go by the words of the prophets and Jesus Christ Himself, honoring the Sabbath is also giving glory to our Father. Jesus arose from the dead on the first day of the week (Sunday). His light is forever, far out doing our sunlight. To understand this better please read Matthew Chapter 28 in full.
