- Good Times - There's a stillness in the air the horizons mirrored in the snow, the trees look cold and bare the evening moon makes everything glow. The smell of hot chocolate and cookies from the neighbors humble abode, In the kitchen to take a lookie to make some goodies of my own. Some logs crackle on the fire champagne bubbles tickle my nose, won't be long before I tire settling in to warm my toes. - Winds Of October - Drying up out in cold dying flowers dangling, from greens to reds to gold scenery completely changing. Soon in snow I'll be standing the wispy winters call, like helicopters landing dried up oak seeds fall. Twisting turning all the way leaves fall when winds blow, on a sunny October day looking out my window. J D Poore |
