You must aknowledge God's authority over your life. (By not doing this your allowing sin into your life.)
Live a life of perfect obedience to Him, so we are not seperated from Him Spiritually. If you want to be lead spiritually then you have to be fed spiritually. So if your not connected you'll not be fed. His love for us is why he offers salvation, (salvation means: to save, source of rescue). The answer to the seperation or spiritual death is Jesus' death on the cross, a sacrifice once for all, became an innocent man. The cross, bridged the gap, between God and us, if we choose to believe.
To do this we have to have a desire in our heart to be saved by the the grace that is offered by the Holy Spirit. That's the connection. This will help you recieve peace and faith, and a right spirit within you. To do right is the beginning of a beautiful life with our Father in heaven.
