A message on meditation....

Hello all, we here at Godlink were lead by the Holy Spirit of God,to share a message with those that prayed for it. A message about prayer,the commandments of God,& meditation. Posted in our blog titled "Get linked into the flow",on 6-12. We've covered a lot of area here already, & now we're gonna talk about meditation. Meditation can be achieved a few different ways, most commonly is to start with rhythmic breathing. With eyes closed preferably in a sitting up position. Put your feet flat, your hands to your side and flat to surface as well. Make sure there will be no one around to distract you for at least 20 minutes. You should be able to give and receive in this twenty minutes, but some of us need more time. It may take a little longer for some to relax, and some may have more to receive than others. Take the time you need so it's not wasted, if you want results. Sometimes you'll have to practice, a couple of times a day and by the end of the week maybe let's say on the Sabbath, you'll get results. OK, so your sitting comfortably in a quiet area, you close your eyes and breath in deep and let out slow, in deep and out slow. You'll do this until you are completely relaxed. Now you can begin to let your thoughts go as they come to you. Don't dwell on them just let them go, soon your thoughts will be at rest. When this happens begin to pray in your thoughts for wisdom and understanding, find your peace and keep it. As children we meditate a lot but don't know were doing it. Can you ever remember sitting still, stooping or sitting as a child somewhere and even sometimes humming. Believe it or not you were meditating, as children belong to God they have a special connection. If you belong to someone there's always some sort of connection, a way to communicate. My children are my responsibility, and over all, God is in charge but, all the little things add up to big things. My responsibility is to try and keep these little things from adding up, sometimes it's a challenge but victory is sweet, like fruit. Yes I'm sure you've heard that word before, fruit. It's something asked of us in the bible, we must produce good fruit. I could go on here but then we'll get away from our discussion on meditation, even though they go together there's a lot of info to go over. As I was saying children have a connection with Jesus & The Father, and we as parents have a connection with our children. At times our Father works with us when tending our children. Fact is Jesus always keeps a connector ready for you to link up to because He is the connection to The Father. So get hooked up, get linked in, and stay connected to a spiritual realm around us, far greater than the tiny world we live in.
The Holy Spirit of God can only speak truth and wisdom, and can only bring gifts of comfort and talent. It's a good thing to purify your heart with repentance before you begin to meditate. Keep your food intake lite before you meditate, maybe some crackers or plain popcorn to keep your tummy from grumbling. Sometimes we get too wrapped up in the whole process and forget our true purpose in meditating. Make sure you remember to have a notebook near you. When you come gently out of your meditative state you will need to write down everything that comes to mind in thought. If you meditate often, you might start catching yourself meditating while your staring out your window. In other words it becomes part of your lifestyle because it's a natural condition we were born with, The Divine Creator designed you that way. Today is a beautiful day for resting in the presence of the Holy Spirit, enjoying our friends and family, and preparing for the week ahead. The sun is shining, and I am thankful for the many spiritual blessings God has given us. I am so thankful for the new job; for receiving new insight to life, so I can deal with life better, and the wisdom and understanding He blessed me with when I was willing to listen. It hasn't been easy, not anything worth fighting for is, but my love for my husband and family has kept me in line and helped me stay strong. When I was my weakest, the Father made a way by strengthening me through the Holy Spirit, and teaching me that if I just surrender and don't worry, everything always works out for the best plan that He has for us, and His plans are always better than anything we plan for ourselves.
We are remembering you in prayer; all you loved ones, and family that has requested, and any others that have asked. We believe in the power of prayer. God will answer you when you ask with a contrite, sincere heart. May you be blessed and lifted up this day. Don't be afraid to ask for prayer, if you are in need. By praying and preparing, we become blessed and protected.
I start my daily prayer with the following and then end it, by adding something of my own.
Our Father who is in heaven, Holy be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever...(add personal prayer here)... amen!
Receive it and believe it! Let the Love of the son shine through.

Happy Sabbath Day everyone...

Let us not forget the Sabbath day is a day set aside for us to rest, enjoy the fruits of our labors, and praise the Lord with singing and dancing. Let's stir up the whole household for the Lord. Fill up your CD player with Christian music and turn up the volume. Turn off the x- box pull the kids out of their bedrooms, and do some things together as a family. The lists of family activities are endless, board games, cards, outside activities, just to name a few. Point is doing things together, showing the love towards your family. I would love to sit here and continue, but there is family in the atmosphere, so now I must go, please understand the importance of this day. People want to lay claim to it as just a day of rest. But, in truth, God is so intelligent that He covers all the bases. So we not only are resting, but we get to spend time with our family, finding out their problems, being a responsible parent with answers. If you really think about it deeply, a lot of young lives have been saved because you were there for them. Give them a time and a place, what better day. God bless you all.

Open up & Let Him in, our Father wants to hear from you...

We've been talking about prayer and how to get your prayers answered. We've been discussing things like temptation and the ten commandments. So the reason we have been discussing these things is, you have to know how important it is to be completely open and honest with God our Father. If your not then He won't except your prayers. But, we are not saying He is going to leave you out in the cold either. God is full of love and mercy. We are His children, He just wants you to open up to Him with your true feelings and cry out to Him and repent. You have to learn what God wants to hear from your mouth, He doesn't necessarily want to hear; God I want a new car, a new job, a new life. God wants to hear that you want to know Him and that you want to be lifted up out of this oppression. He already knows what your going to need to get out of your oppression, after all God knows everything and all He really wants you to do, is for you to open up to Him. If He's gonna open up doors for you, then He expects you to open the initial channel so He can come in and open doors and answer prayers. Some of you may not know where to start, so the first thing you should try is to pray to our Father God and ask Him to come into your life, and fill you with wisdom. Ask in faith, and it shall be given. But he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed with the wind.
Without faith your prayers can't be answered. This will be the first test between you and your Father God. Will He answer your prayer? Of course He will, because your going to ask Him in your prayer with complete faith and He will answer it, for wisdom on how to build a relationship with Him, this my friend will get your prayers answered. Just make sure that you pray in the name of Jesus Christ because without Him there is no connection. His blood covers our sins so our Father cannot see them. You can learn all about Jesus and how he became the lamb of God, the connection between the spirit world, and the flesh, if you read the new testament. Make sure when your getting your prayers answered and your learning about God, and what He wants from you, don't forget to thank Him daily, and witness your testimony to others around you. This is how we spread the gospel, tell people good news. Teach them how to pray and how to read their bible, and how to search for God with all their heart mind body and soul. Before you know it, you'll be on auto pilot, a vessel working for God. What happens here is God answers your prayers when their genuinely true to Him and His word. Then you go and share wisdom that you've learned from scripture, creating a cycle of truth and enlightenment. As we've said before in previous writings after your filled up you have to empty out and refill, this is an on going process, this process my friend is called life.
When you receive this knowledge and information but don't share it or teach others your becoming stagnant. As we were talking in last nights blog about temptation, we went over envy and fear. Here is more; gossip. I'll give you one, Proverbs 18:8 the words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the inner most parts of the belly. Here is some other scriptures to look up, on gossip, so we are not tempted by it; Leviticus 19:16, Proverbs 20:109, 11:13,16:28, 26:20-22, & 25:23. then Psalm 52:2 & 34:13. Here is another temptation, laziness. Romans 12:11 states; not slothful in business; be fervent in spirit; serving the Lord. Here is some scripture on being tempted by laziness. Proverbs 28:19, 10:4-5, II Thessalonians, 3:10-12; Proverbs 15:19, 21:5, 12:24. Eccl. 5:18-19. Thank you for coming to our Fathers bookstore, for whosoever will receive this message, receive it well. We've been talking about how to get your prayers answered and what to pray for. One thing we have to keep in mind is there are ten commandments, and we must work hard at following them to a tee. God gave us tools, one of the things we can do is pray, when we fall short of a commandment, we can ask to be forgiven. But, we cannot base our life on that. We cannot go around saying, it's ok to sin because we will be forgiven. Fact is, we are not above the laws of God. So something that happens causing us to stumble, is called temptation. We're going to take some wise words and truth from James chapter 1; Starting with verse 2 my brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into diverse temptations; verse 3, knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. Verse 4 says, but let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be made perfect and entire, wanting nothing. So what we see here is, with patience we can overcome temptation, and also, when we do overcome, the patience in us becomes perfect and entire, wanting nothing. Now if you skip down to verse 12, it goes right along with saying blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love Him.
To me that sounds like a very special gift from a father that loves his children on this planet. The crown of life. What would you do with eternity? This next four verses 13 - 16, has something very important to say. Now I want you to pay extra special attention to this. The Holy Spirit has worked through me for many years telling this message to everyone I know. And here it goes: verse 13, let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man; verse 14, but every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Verse 15, then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth fourth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. And James here showing great love for his brethren and man kind, as did his teacher, Jesus Christ, in verse 16, he stated, do not err (or error) my beloved brethren. The scriptures were quoted from King James Bible. I've got to tell you , it's not as easy as it sounds. There are so may things in our world today, of a tempting nature. Some examples: some of us are envious of movie stars, musicians, and others around us. Here is what some scripture says about being envious, it's also one of the ten commandments, to not covet. I'll give you one scripture and you'll have to look up the rest. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work and this is in James 3:16. Now, these other scriptures are important, you should look them up and read them. Here we go; Deut. 5:21, James 4:5, Galatians 5:26, Psalm 10:3. Proverbs 3:31 &14:30 & 27:4, I Cor. 10:24, Psalm 37:7, Eccl. 4:4, Proverbs 24:1, James 3:14, Proverbs 23:17-18, and finally Luke 12:22-23. We can see here in just one way how hard life can be with temptation all over the place.
Another form of temptation is being tempted to fear. This is one of the bigger ones, and I'll tell you why, because it means you have little faith or lack thereof. Mark 4:40 says, and he said unto them, why are ye so fearful. How is it that ye have no faith? Jesus spoke those words and if you look up the scripture, it's in red letters, meaning spoken by Jesus. Here's scriptures on fear; Luke 12:32, Isaiah 41:13, Matthew 10:28, II Timothy 1:7, I Peter 3:12-14, Proverbs 29:25, John 14:27, Psalm 23:4-5. We'll talk more about temptation another time.

whats in your field of view

On this planet satan put things in our field of view to make us forget about whats really in front of us, and even who's in front and who is behind us. Do you remember? Jesus stood up for us, so He's our defender and our Father Creator is always there to back us up!
Words are very important, but do you really know what you are saying? Isn't it time to find out what you've been saying. I'll give you a couple of examples here. Life, the fe means temporary. Evil means misfortune. amen, means so be it or so it shall be. Amen capitalized means Amon, you'll find it in Webster's 3rd college edition dictionary. Jesus said to keep your thoughts on high, reading scripture is a good way to do this.
- Just Don't -
Don't open doors unprepared
the shadow prince may be lurking,
don't listen to those that seem scared
or them that may be smirking.
Don't tie yourself up with too many tasks
for someone may be forgotten,
don't litter the work while hiding behind masks
show them what you have begotten.
Don't leave your friend out in the cold
help them become a shining light,
don't look in the mirror you won't feel old
knowing you turned wrong things right.

It's a powerful feeling or a feeling of joyful satisfaction when the Holy Spirit speaks through you. Usually the person spoken to gets an answer, a healing, or perhaps questioning their lives and actions. You are the vessel and a witness, sometimes you understand whats going on and sometimes you don't. God is mysterious, marvelous, and mighty. Make a list of your spiritual desires, they could be; wanting to learn more about the word of God, to be whole and healed. To be able to to sing praises to God with a beautiful voice, to raise your children to treat others as they would want to be treated. There are lots of spiritual desires, the list could go on, and God will bless you with all the spiritual desires you can handle. God will not bring harm to us with burdens, he wants to prosper us, He wants to give to us.
If He wants to give you a lot, so you can help a lot, then He will give you helpers like He did with Abraham, Job, and others that were blessed abundantly. The bible tells you how to live and abundant life, full of joy and prosperity. Anyone can say a prayer, but are you just talking to Him, or calling out to Him? David in Psalms was one of the best at heart felt contrite prayers. Hey, why don't you open your bible right now and start at Psalm one, you can sing or read aloud to your Father God. Close your eyes and go to His throne room. Imagine yourself being there singing, Holy, Holy Holy, Lord God almighty, who was and is, and is to come. Glory be to God, our Father is a great spirit, go to Him in Spirit. Tomorrow morning pray to Him before you get out of bed, thank Him for answering your prayers completely, believing in Him, without any doubt. Just expect to be in the right place at the right time, when your in God's timing, your always on time. Be real. God Bless.

I chose poetry because it's an easy way to express myself in words. It's a way of relaxing for me. I also like to study words by going back to the original meaning of the word. Since I'm inspired to write about salvation I do a lot of studying. This led to the Heavenly Reflections page on our website. There are lots of pictures taken by my lovely wife and website partner. We both love nature and we hope you enjoy the pictures of our Fathers creation. With lots of prayer and faith, and by the Holy Spirit of God together we have overcome many obstacles. We want to share with everyone so that we might be a help in times of trouble. We hope to share with the world the joy that we have found in working for our Father, and the salvation we have because Jesus died for us.
